What is heroism?
From “The Banality of Heroism” article:
The banality of heroism concept suggests that we are all potential heroes waiting for a moment in life to perform a heroic deed. The decision to act heroically is a choice that many of us will be called upon to make at some point in time.
So how is this relevant to students in college? Because there are many things going on in the world today that we should be speaking up about. Heroism, the article argues, doesn’t necessarily come from those who are born heroic, but from those who speak up against injustice.
