Beat sleep deprivation
Baruch College’s student paper, The Ticker, ran this article about sleep deprivation. While it doesn’t say anything terribly surprising, they do have some useful tips, including:
Go to sleep and wake up at the same time everyday. Your body will recognize the time and this will make falling asleep easier.
Take a hot bath about an hour and a half before bed. This relaxes your body and creates the sensation of drowsiness.
I like the idea of the bath, except for the fact that we only have showers in our dorms. Well, we do have one bathtub, but why oh why would I want to use that? I mean… just for the fact that germs may be involved.
