FastWeb isn’t just for high schoolers
If you signed up for a FastWeb account in high school, it’s still useful for finding scholarships. In fact, I learned about this nifty blogging scholarship from FastWeb, a website I hadn’t even opened for at least a year.
If you already have an account, your work should be done for you. FastWeb should already have you listed as a college student, whether or not you’ve logged in since graduating from your dear old alma mater.
If you do not have an account with FastWeb, making one is pretty easy. Just click on the long red bar that says “New Users: Start Your Free Search. Once you have filled in all of your parameters, FastWeb will start finding scholarships for you.
The only caveat with FastWeb (and this is a small price to pay), is that splash screens for various sponsors will often assault you once you click on a few links. This is okay in a sense, considering that some of them are actually interesting, like the Disney College program (I thought that was interesting, anyway).
So if you haven’t used your FastWeb account in a while because you think you can only find high school scholarships, think again. There’s a lot for the college student, too.
