Newegg.com has a deal on Creative Zen Vision: M mp3 players. The blue one is being sold for $209.99, which is already down from the usual $250 price tag. The black version is being sold for $214.99. Both also come with a $50 rebate, so the final price for the blue is $159.99 and the black would be $164.99.

My parents gave me one for Christmas, and I absolutely adore it. Although it is thicker than the iPod, the extra girth isn’t noticeable, and is actually welcome for me, someone who is afraid that I would break the skinny iPod in half.

The 30GB Vision: M also has some features that the iPod doesn’t. One notable feature that will actually help the lecture-hating college student is voice recording. The microphone is sensitive enough, and, as long as the student sits near the front of the classroom, whole lectures can be stored on the player.

This mp3 player can also play video and allows you to view photos. It also come equipped with an FM Tuner.
